Planet Aid was founded in Boston in 1997 and as a non-profit organization, they work to make it possible for individuals to contribute to improving conditions for those in need. Most people have items of clothing that they never use!! The clothes are stored in closets or attics and are eventually dumped into community landfills. Planet Aid tackles this problem by recycling and reusing the clothes to provide aid to local, regional and international charities. All donations made to Planet Aid are tax deductible. Donations of clothing, shoes and small toys should be secured in plastic bags.
